God's people are called to reach their local community - the world - with the love of Christ. That's why Sawgrass Community Church helps its members identify and use their God-given gifts to build God's Kingdom. We're missions-minded and have multiple outreach opportunities to fulfill the Great Commission.

While some may feel called to visit Haiti on a medical missions trips, or to serve in a local community project. Others may choose to host or lead a small group, work with a specific ministry or help organize a church event. Opportunities are limited only by your imagination, vision and passion.

Our families are the building block of the church, we encourage and train every head of a household to be a spiritual leader.


 

Our 2015 trip was one of our most productive to date in our surgical area. Our team performed over 40 surgeries on people ranging in age from 5 years old to 76 years old. It is an incredible blessing to be a part of the work that God is doing at the clinic in SaintArd, Haiti! The video below shows some of the work that was performed during our 2015 trip.

In our Haiti trip in March of 2014, our team was able to treat over 1500 people in the medical clinics in remote villages, perform 30 surgeries in the hospital facilities, and provided new prosthetic legs to victims of the 2010 earthquake. Amputees test out their new prosthetic legs for the first time at our Prosthetic Lab at the St. Ard Hospital in Haiti. They will receive the exoskeletal piece to their limbs at a later date. We were amazed by how quickly each of them started walking with no prior physical therapy!
